7diffs collects no personal data whatsoever. There is no telemetry, analytics, error reporting, advertising SDK, or tracking of any kind in the application.
We do not know who you are, what texts you compare, or how you use the app.
7diffs is designed to work offline. All diff calculations are performed locally on your machine. No content is uploaded or shared with any server or third party.
The application does not require an internet connection to compare text or files. No network requests are made by the app during normal use.
Files you open remain on your device and are processed only in memory while the app is running.
7diffs requests only the permissions necessary to access files you choose to open:

7diffs does not collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable digital consent age in your jurisdiction). The app does not contain features directed at children that require special data handling under laws such as COPPA, GDPR-K, or similar regulations.
7diffs does not integrate with third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, social media SDKs, or cloud storage providers.
The app uses open-source libraries and runs entirely on your device. No external connections are made during normal use.
Because 7diffs never transmits or stores your text or files outside your device, the risk of a privacy breach originating from 7diffs is essentially zero. Your comparisons remain under your control at all times.
